MOUNT OLIVE — A large crowd lined Breazeale Avenue in Mount Olive on Saturday afternoon for the 16th annual Black History Month parade.
The parade was sponsored by the Unity Organization.
Vendors sold food along the parade route, and Miranda Cox Haskins, the owner of Legacy Cakes & Courtesies in Goldsboro, was the grand marshall. Legacy Cakes & Courtesies is located at 2116-B Wayne Memorial Drive in Goldsboro.
