Erma Jean Davis, 75, of Dudley, passed away Thursday morning February 22, 2024, at her home.  She was born February 20, 1949, in Wilson and was the daughter of Jesse Pettigrew and Vera Lee Avery Hooten.  Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her mother, Maude Wilkins Hooten, and a sister, Jane Reese.

She is survived by her husband, George Davis, daughters; Jennifer Hubbell, and Emma Byrd, son; Trampus Pearce, brothers; Bill Hooten, and Jay Hooten, sister; Donna Dickens, grandchildren; Dawson Byrd and Cole Byrd.
