Sandra Jean Scarborough, 57, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Northside Hospital Forsyth in Georgia. Born on June 4, 1966, in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Price and Barbara Mclenny Price.

Sandra was a music enthusiast. She loved the outdoors, fishing, and open skies. Sandra really loved watching makeup videos and doing research on any and every subject she could study. Sandra was an intelligent woman, a great listener, and always gave sound advice. She was loved by many, even those who did not know her long. Above all, Sandra loved her family and friends deeply. That was most important to her.

Sandra is survived by her daughter, Sandra S. Nevin, and husband, Mikel; her granddaughters, Sierra N. Kerns, Destiny B. Kerns, and Amber L. Kerns; and her daughter’s father, Glenn Scarborough.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Price, and sister, Gail Whidby.

A service to celebrate Sandra’s life will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the mausoleum chapel at Wayne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
