Terry Lisa Ward, age 58, passed away Friday evening at Wayne/UNC Health Care. Born in Arlington, VA, she was the daughter of the late Roland Johnny Ward, Sr., and Sallie Lane Ward. She was a graduate of CE King High School in Houston, TX.

Funeral Services to celebrate Terry’s life will be held Tuesday at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. A visitation for family and friends will be held immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Terry is survived by her fiancé, Dan “Manson” Kostelecky; her daughter, Myranda Reese; her son, Richard James Reese; bonus son, Daniel Kostelecky, Jr.; bonus daughter, Katie Kostelecky; sisters, Jennifer Willis and Jacqueline Betsy Ward; brothers, Walter William Ward, Franklin Gary Ward, and Roland Johnny Ward, Jr.; grandchildren, Nevaeh Dawn Reese, Roland James Reese, Jaxson Ray Reese, and Devin James Cordell; close nieces and nephews, Marcus Cody Boozer, Savanna Lei Willis, Brittany Willis, Sunshine Ward, Marvin “Teddy” Ward, Destiny Hicks, Susan Hicks, and many others.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Robert Allen Ward, Ross Ward, Teddy Ward, and Donald Ray Baxter.
