The Sunrise Kiwanis Club presented Katharine Pereira, Senior Regional Camp Manager at Comfort Zone Camp (left) with a $500 donation. Comfort Zone Camp is a nonprofit bereavement organization that transforms the lives of children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, primary caregiver, or significant person. Sunrise Kiwanis Club President, Chris Eddings is pictured right. Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time.
The Sunrise Kiwanis meet weekly every Wednesday at 7 a.m. at B&G Grill in Downtown Goldsboro. All are welcome to attend.
