Sandra Grant Hann, 84, passed away at Somerset Court of Goldsboro on Monday, January 29, 2024. Born in Kittery, Maine on October 17, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Aubrey Grant and Ruth Seavey Grant. In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Randall James Hann, II; grandsons, Randall James Hann, IV, and Christopher James Hann.
Sandra is survived by her children, Sheryl Head and husband, Donny, Donna “Dede” Montgomery and husband, Roger, and Randall James Hann, III and wife, Robin; grandchildren, Tonya Tart, Heather Weaver, Chantal Covas, Tristan Brinkley, and Wesley D. Hann; Eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Sandra is also survived by her siblings, John Grant, Byron Grant, and Bobbie Contella.
Sandra owned and operated Shrado Kennels in Pikeville. She loved all breeds of dogs, but her favorite was Great Danes. Sandra, along with her husband, would travel often to dog shows to show off their prized Great Danes. When not on the road or at work, Sandra could be seen by her pool relaxing.
A memorial service to celebrate Sandra’s life will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with Wesley Weaver presiding. The family will receive friends following the service.
