Karen René Tyndall Pate, 54, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday morning surrounded by her family.

René was born to Thelma Martin Rowe and Donald Tyndall both of Goldsboro.

Along with her parents, René is survived by her daughter, Savannah Pate, sons, Christian Pate and Landon Pate, stepdaughter, Brandy Pate Causey and husband Kenny, step son, Jami Pate and wife Pamela, brother, Christopher Tyndall, sister, Rhonda Davis, grandchildren, Kyleigh Ann Hernandez, Kanan Randy Pate Newberry, Rainey Charlotte Pate, Caroline Grey Pate, Ashton Brantley Pate, Kaylyn Breanne Causey, Kenneth “Brayden” Causey, Bryson Alexander Causey, Greyson Britt Causey, and her best friend Denise Jackson.

A funeral service will be on Tuesday at 6:00 PM in Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church with Dr. Josh Whitfield and Rev Barry Williamson officiating. The family will receive friends and loved ones following the funeral in the Fellowship Hall.

A committal service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
