A fire that started shortly before 4 a.m. on Thursday in a multi-family home at 125 Rockefeller Court left five people without a home.

The Goldsboro Fire Department was called to the scene of the fire at 3:53 a.m., and no injuries were reported. The fire is believed to be the result of unattended cooking.

According to the City of Goldsboro, two adults and three children were displaced by the fire and are receiving assistance from the Red Cross.
