Lesia Diane Evans Casey, 62, of Smithfield, passed away at her home on Sunday, January 14, 2024.  Lesia was born in Johnston County on December 15, 1961, to the late Alkie Earl Evans and Dessie Jewel Strickland Evans.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donnie Ray Evans.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Casey; brother, Chris Evans (Cindy); sister, Loriane King and her canine companion, Rudy.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations.

The funeral will be held in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 6:00 pm with the Reverend Dennis Pollock officiating.  She will be buried at Progressive Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
