Barbara Howell DeBank, 86, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024, at her home in Durham. She was born in Wayne County to the late Raymond G. and Roxie Gurley Howell on June 3, 1937. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Frederick DeBank.

A private service for the family will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024, at the Princeton Cemetery.

Barbara is survived by her sons, Derek Howell DeBank of Raleigh and Kyle Douglas DeBank of Durham; and sister, Jean H. Reese.

Services are entrusted to Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Goldsboro, NC.
