Pamela Joyce Price, 67, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. Pam was born in Wayne County to the late Sidney Ray Price and Pearl Seymour Price on April 5, 1956. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Malena Schimmel and Troy Thompson; and a sister, Belinda Price Westbrook.

Pam’s life was a testament to selflessness and dedication, evident in her unwavering love for her family and commitment to her children and grandchildren. Pam’s heart overflowed with love for the Lord. She cherished her church family at Daly’s Chapel OFWB. Her career in accounting spanned local businesses and extended internationally with Samaritan’s Purse, culminating in retirement from Butterball LLC.

A service of love and remembrance will be held by the graveside at Pineview Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024. The family will receive friends following the service.

Pam is survived by her grandchildren, Mason Thompson and Mackenzie Thompson; siblings, Beverly Sutton and husband, Wayne, Sidney Ray Price, Jr. and wife, Joanne, and Scarlette Rouse and husband, Gene; Malena’s best friend whom Pam named her “Louisiana Daughter”, Darla Boseman; and several nieces and nephews and extended family.
