According to the National Weather Service, the forecast for Saturday in Wayne County calls for a 100% chance of rain.

Rain chances are expected to significantly increase by 6 a.m. on Saturday, and remain above 50% until 3 p.m., with the rain heavy at times. Rainfall totals could be between a quarter and half of an inch.

Saturday’s high should be in the low 60s with winds potentially gusting up to 30 mph.

Another weather system is expected to impact the area on Tuesday with the potential for between 1 and 2 1/2 inches of rain, and winds gusting between 20 and 30 mph.
