Earl Edward Warren, 102, passed away at Kitty Askins Hospice Center on Monday, December 25, 2023. Born in Beaufort County on August 25, 1921, he was the son of the late Ed Warren and Elizabeth Miller Warren.
In addition to his parents, Earl is preceded in death by his first wife, Edna Alford Warren, and second wife, Margaret Mumford Warren. Earl was their caretaker and loved them both dearly. Earl is also preceded in death by his children, Edna Earle Jennette and Jerry Warren; grandchildren, Eugene Warren and Krista Foil; and step-daughter, Anita Diane Lancaster.
Earl is survived by his grandchildren, Robert Jennette and wife, Susan, and Tammy Williams and husband, Tim; son-in-law, Robert Arlis Jennette; step-grandchildren, Sharon Tittle and Tammy Diorio. Earl is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
Earl was known as a jack of all trades. He was always outside tinkering on projects, making sure they were done correctly. Up until a few weeks before his passing, Earl could still be seen out driving, still sharp as ever. Earl loved the Lord and was ready to meet Him. He was no doubt greeted by the Lord and a whole host of relatives that Christmas night.
A service to celebrate Earl’s life will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Interment will be held at Wayne Memorial Park
