Goldsboro firefighters along with the Goldsboro Police Department were busy on Monday morning responding to several water rescues called in across the city.
Several cars had left the roadway and ran off into the ditches on East Elm Street and in Stoney Creek Park.
Numerous people were rescued from these vehicles. Goldsboro Public Works was busy puttingout road-closed signs around the area.
