As a result of heavy rain throughout the day on Sunday, Wayne County Emergency Management has received reports of flooded streets in Goldsboro and other areas of the county.

Rain is expected to taper off early Monday morning, but remember, if you encounter a flooded roadway— turn around, and don’t drown.
The NCDOT is placing high water signs up, and drivers should be extra careful.
