Bryant Edward Stafford, 29, of Wilmington, North Carolina passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023.

Bryant was born in Goldsboro, North Carolina, and was the son of DeNeal Robert and Sherrill Bush Stafford. He is survived by his parents; his brother, Scott Stafford, and wife Lizzie; grandmother, Jane M. Stafford; great aunts, Julie T. Bridgers and Betty Jo Bush Carnish; and special friend, April Franks. Bryant is also survived by his uncle, David Stafford, and wife Nydia; aunt, Michele Stafford and numerous cousins.

Bryant was a 2012 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School and attended Southeastern Community College and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he excelled in baseball as a left-handed pitcher. He participated in Young Life and was a member of Saint Paul United Methodist Church in his younger years.

Bryant loved to work with his hands and had become a skilled craftsman and carpenter, working in the home and building improvements business while living in the Wilmington area.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service to celebrate Bryant’s life at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel.

Private graveside services for the family will be held at Willowdale Cemetery, 306 E. Elm Street, Goldsboro immediately following the memorial service.
