WCSO Makes Arrest in Breaking and Entering Case

WCSO Makes Arrest in Breaking and Entering Case

On Dec. 5th, members of Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division, Shift C, conducted a saturation patrol in the northern area of Wayne County due to recent vehicle breaking and entering.

During the proactive patrol, contact was made, on Martin Road, with a suspicious vehicle
operated by suspect Jasmin Oxendine. During the encounter with suspect Jasmine Irene Oxedine, 31, various models of Stihl power equipment were observed within the vehicle, and sale tags were still attached.

In the course of the investigation, it was discovered that Quality Farm Equipment was the victim of a Breaking or Entering. The initial investigation revealed the items located in the suspect vehicle were confirmed stolen from the aforementioned buisness.

All property was returned to the owner of Quality Farm Equipment. Oxendine was placed under arrest and charged as indicated above. Jasmin Irene Oxendine is being held under a $500,000 secure bond.

The investigation into this incident is still ongoing due to additional involved suspects.
