November 20, 2023, 87, Goldsboro —

Lola, 87, peacefully went to be with her Lord on Monday morning with family by her side.

Lola was born in Goldsboro to the late James Edward “Teat” Vinson and Willie Louise Smith Vinson on December 18, 1935. She was preceded in death by her Brother Jackson Ray “Jackie” Vinson and her husband Denver Eugene “Dan” Yost.

A Private Service Will be held at a later date at The Vinson Family Cemetery with Pastor. Patrick Muston officiating

Lola was survived by her Cousin and Caregiver, Toni LaNelle “Bunnie” Smith. Her Aunts, Belle S. Reeves of Florida and Annie S. Rollins of Montana. Also several Cousins and her first husband Daniel “ Dan” and Elaine Schmitz.

The Family would like to thank all at Gentiva Hospice for their care and service over the last two years.
