Nu-Hope Community Center, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit agency committed to finding
solutions to mitigate homeless issues among veterans and their families in Goldsboro, held an open house on Nov. 7 to celebrate the opening of its new Tiny Homes for veterans.
The organization has partnered with the Positive Point Program, Arbor Management, and Leon N. Weiner and Associates of Delaware to provide much-needed housing for veterans. The Tiny Homes are the first of their kind in the Goldsboro community.
The Nu-Hope Community is located at 900 N. Virginia St.
The Nu-Hope Community Center will offer much more than a place for veterans to call home but a true sense of community; a safe and supportive environment where our heroes can access essential services and resources to get their lives back on track and recapture that sense of pride and honor that they so willingly displayed while serving our great country.
Nu-Hope Community Center believes that housing often stands in the way of recovery, and Tiny Homes will help veterans facing this most difficult challenge.
