Gallery: Warsaw Memorial Service and Veterans Parade

On the morning of Nov. 4, Warsaw VFW Post 9810  kicked off the 103rd consecutive Veterans Day Celebration with their Memorial Service at 10 a.m. on Center Street in downtown Warsaw. VFW Post Commander, Dwight Carlton opened the service with a big welcome to the crowd that attended the service, followed by the invocation by Chaplain, Brad Bierowski.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Quartermaster Willie Darden followed by the guest speaker, 4thDistrict Commander David Berger. Debbie Lucas, Auxiliary President of Post 9810 placed the Wreath, followed by the playing of Taps by Rudolph Becton. The Veterans Parade got underway at 11 a.m. with more than 100 units taking their places in the parade.
