Mr. Ricky W. Smith, 60, departed this earthly life on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at home. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 1:00 pm with a viewing from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm at St. James Church of Christ DOC, 514 Memorial Church Road, Fremont, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Golden Gate Memorial Gardens, 4734 Highway 117 North, Pikeville, NC.

He was born on April 22, 1963, in Wayne County, NC to Russell Edward Smith Sr. and Mary Lee Wilson Smith. He is survived by his siblings, nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
