Minnie Daniels Millard passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, October 23, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 5, 1946, to the late John Daniels and Verdie Hinson Daniels and was married to the late Herbert Lee Millard, Jr.

Before retirement, Minnie had worked with R. G. Barry, Excel Linde, and Western Sizzlin. She enjoyed most of all spending time with her family.

A service to celebrate Minnie’s life will be held Thursday at 12:00 PM by the graveside at Wayne Memorial Park with Rev. Linda Burroughs officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 – 11:30 AM at Seymour Funeral Home.

Minnie is survived by her daughter, Robin Matthews, and husband Lee of Goldsboro; sons, Scottie Millard and Joey Millard, both of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Brice, Cole, Kyle, Makenzie, Miranda, Azlynn, and Charley; great-grandchild, Jensen; sister, Glenda Strickland and brothers, Chris Daniels and Jimmy Daniels.

In addition to her parents and husband, Minnie was preceded in death by a grandson, Matt Matthews, and a brother, Wayne Daniels.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
