GoFundMe Started for Females Involved in ATV Crash at Busco Beach

A GoFundMe account has been created to help two females who were seriously injured during an ATV crash the weekend of Oct. 7-8 at Busco Beach.

Both females suffered major injuries and were immediately hospitalized. Ashley, one of the females injured in the crash, was airlifted to the hospital and sustained major facial damage, including several broken bones. Within hours of admission, Ashley had emergency surgery on her face, left eye, and left wrist.

Jolene, the other female involved in the crash, didn’t require surgery but suffered major damage to her left eye, neck, and spine. Jolene had a skull fracture and damage to her C1 vertebrae, and she will remain in a neck brace for a minimum of three months.

The families of Ashley and Joline are asking for anyone who can help to consider contributing to the massive amount of medical bills and assist with their household expenses.

Ashley is expected to undergo at least three more surgeries in the coming months. Jolene will be continuously monitored over the next three months as her neck and spin heal. Both Ashley and Jolene will have many doctor appointments ahead as well as surgeries.

Ashley is a full-time nursing student, and her husband is the sole provider for their household. Jolene is a full-time dental assistant and will be out of work for a minimum of three months, making her unable to support herself during this challenging time.
