United Way of Wayne County partners with Bell to Address Community Needs

United Way of Wayne County, in partnership with House of Representative and Majority Leader, John Bell, is pleased to announce the support of $750,000 in funding to support and strengthen local programming, support homeless initiatives, and address the needs of Wayne County’s youth.

“The United Way of Wayne County Board of Directors are elated at the opportunity to strengthen the community resources, particularly around our homeless and youth programming opportunity.” said Sherry Archibald, United Way of Wayne County Executive Director.“ We are in the middle of our campaign, and those efforts must continue to support the already existing programs; however, this opportunity will help us fill the huge gaps of support that have been missing since COVID.”

At the direction of the Board, Archibald stated she is working through the process of accessing the funding and identifying the next steps to support and strengthen change and engaging multiple partners for a bigger impact.

Please direct any questions to Archibald at [email protected] or Board Chair, Walter Krentz at [email protected].
