Anthony Robert Braccia, 85, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023, at UNC Health Wayne. Born in Brooklyn, New York on January 31, 1938, he was the son of the late Anthony and Rose Dono Braccia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Beth Ann Braccia; wife of 25 years, Judy Braccia; and sister, Joan Theresa Braccia.

Bob is survived by his son, Robert Braccia and daughter-in-law, Vicki Ann Huxel.

Services will be private for the family.

Bob enjoyed sports and was an avid golfer. He had a great passion for baseball, be it watching or coaching he loved every minute of the game. Bob spent many hours in his younger years on a baseball diamond.

Bob loved animals and was an advocate of SOAR Southport/Oak Island Animal Rescue.

Bob was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church.
