September 22, 2023, 63, Mount Olive —

Robert Alan “Bobby” Moye, 63, passed away early Friday morning, September 22 while being cared for at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. He is survived by his loving mother, Elsie Price Moye of Mount Olive; a sister and brother-in-law, Robin M. Jackson and Randy of Mount Olive, and a brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Christy Moye of Pikeville. Bobby was preceded in death by his father; Marshall “Gary” Moye, and his Partner Tom Corbett.

Bobby was also survived by one of his fondest K9 companions, Sadie; as well as his nieces and nephews; Sarah and Lacy Jackson, and Raelynn and Marshall Sasser.

Bobby was definitely a Mamma’s Boy and was considered her favorite. Bobby had worked as a Mortgage Broker for several years and was an avid Wake Forest fan. He also enjoyed time spent working in the yard and his garden and was known for his quick wit and humor.

A Memorial Service for Bobby will be held on Sunday afternoon, September 24 at 3 o’clock in the afternoon in the Chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home. A time of visitation will immediately follow the service.
