Updated: Threat of Rain Brings Changes to High School Football Schedule

With the threat of potentially heavy rainfall in the forecast for Friday, multiple high schools have begun to reschedule their football games.

Princeton (3-1) travels to face Clinton (4-0) on Thursday evening. The Dark Horses are the No. 1 ranked 2-A team in the state. The game can be heard on 98.3 WGBR and online at Goldsborodailynews.com, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Also on Thursday, North Duplin (4-1) travels to Bear Grass Charter (2-1), while Southern Wayne (2-2) entertains West Johnston (2-1). Wayne Christian (4-1) plays host to John Paul II Catholic. All four games begin at 7 p.m.

C.B. Aycock (3-1) visits East Wake (1-3) on Friday at 7 p.m.

Rosewood’s (2-3) game at Southside (0-4) has been moved to Monday at 7 p.m.
