Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

On Sept. 1 members of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office DWI Task Force conducted a traffic stop for a Chapter 20 Violation.

After the traffic stop was made, a K9 was called to assist further. After a positive K9 alert to the odor of narcotics a Probable Cause search was conducted of the vehicle. After the search, Brock Anthony Ham, 48, was found in possession of illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia both in the vehicle and on his person.

Ham was arrested and charged with Felony Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Ham was placed in the Wayne County Jail under a $2,500 secured bond.
