August 21, 2023, 57, Selma —

James Elton Pilkington, Jr., 57, of Selma passed away at his home on August 21, 2023.  He was born in Wayne County on September 27, 1965, to the late James Elton Pilkington and Mary Tempie Hines Pilkington.  In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by a brother, Linwood Pilkington, and a sister, Anita Kay Pilkington Peedin.

He is survived by his wife, Rena Muda Daoudie; daughters, Veronica Lynn Brinkley of Selma and Rachelle Pilkington of Lebanon, PA; sister, Lisa Pilkington of Selma; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Garrett, Jessa, and Costa.

The funeral will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023, at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations with the Reverend Gene DeWitt officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Monday, August 28, 2023, at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations.

Although flowers are welcome, contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
