Old Waynesborough Park hosted a National Honey Bee Day celebration on Aug. 19.
Beekeepers from Beekeepers of the Neuse were on hand to answer any questions the public had about the culture of honey bees.
Also on display at the event were antique farm equipment, crafts, candle-making, and live music.
