Goodwill in Eastern North Carolina Recognizing National Thrift Shop Day

Goodwill in Eastern North Carolina Recognizing National Thrift Shop Day

Aug. 17 is National Thrift Shop Day and National Nonprofit Day. These days are celebrated each year to help raise awareness about the tremendous positive impact thrift shops have in our community.

Goodwill Industries of Eastern North Carolina (GIENC) is one of the most recognized names in the state, and in Wayne County when it comes to thrift shops and nonprofit organizations. Goodwill is excited to be celebrating these important nationally recognized days.

Shoppers at the 42 Goodwill locations throughout eastern North Carolina, including Wayne County, will find great deals on back-to-school clothing, home decor, and collectibles.

Most importantly, their purchases will provide funds to support employment initiatives, combat food insecurity, and provide educational resources for youth throughout the 51 counties we serve.

These days serve as a reminder of the important things GIENC does in the community and for the community. To find out more about Goodwill Industries of Eastern North Carolina locations visit gienc.org/locations.
