On Friday, at approximately 12:40 p.m., the Wayne County 911 call center received multiple calls in reference to several subjects brandishing firearms near 1000 Day Circle.

As officers from Goldsboro Police Department’s A shift and Investigations arrived in the area, the subjects possessing the firearms fled on foot. One of the subjects, Hykeem Damarion Weeks, 18, was taken into custody behind 1700 Day Circle and charged with one count each of Going Armed to the Terror of the Public and Resisting Public Officer.

Weeks was taken to the Wayne County Magistrates Office, where he received a $5,000 secured bond and was left in the custody of the Wayne County Detention Center.
