Edward Langston, Jr., 69, of Selma passed away at SECU Hospice Center on Saturday, July 22, 2023.  He was born in Wayne County on March 21, 1954, to the late Edward Langston and Vada Williams Pittman.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Steven Langston, and a sister, Sue Langston Collier.

Mr. Langston loved hunting and fishing and listening to country music.  He especially loved his family and had a very special relationship with his mother.

He is survived by a son, Alan Langston of Smithfield; daughter, Tracey Langston of Smithfield; sister, Debbie Granillo-Hill (Matt) of Selma; grandchildren, Tyler, Mandy, Lexi, Allison, Cameron, Savannah, and William; and great-granddaughter, Madison.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations in Princeton.

The funeral will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, July 27, 2023, in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations.
