Susan Getchell Dodson, age 67; of Goldsboro passed away Tuesday.  She was the daughter of the late Robert Morrison Getchell and Elaine Gilbert Getchell.  She was retired from the Wayne County School system, serving as a teacher at Meadow Lane School.

Funeral arrangements are forthcoming and will be announced by Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home & Crematory.

Among her survivors are her Husband, Jesse Lee Dodson, and their children, Amanda, Sarah & David. Along with her extended family.
