John Joseph Farfour, 61, passed away at his home on Sunday, July 16, 2023. Born and raised in Wayne County, he was the son of the late George Farfour and Tempie Barber Farfour.

For many years, John worked for himself as an electrician. When not at work, he could be found oftentimes at the beach with a rod and reel in hand. The family was first and foremost in John’s life. Nothing made him happier than spending time with his family. John will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and brother.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

John is survived by his two daughters, Alexandra James and husband, Charles, and Caroline LaFlamme and husband, Kyle; step-son, Gary Matthews and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Haylie James and Sullivan LaFlamme; brothers, George Farfour and James Farfour. John is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews that he loved dearly.
