Wayne STEM Academy received a unanimous approval to open vote from the North Carolina State Board of Education at their July 6th meeting.

Wayne STEM Academy is a free public charter school open to all North Carolina resident students. Wayne STEM Academy is a Kindergarten – 5th grade school currently enrolling Kindergarten – 3rd grade students for their 2023 – 2024 opening school year. The school plans to grow a grade each year with students.

Wayne STEM Academy will be located in Goldsboro at 3006 Summit Drive. Dr. Todd Forgette is the Executive Director of Wayne STEM. Dr. Forgette and his staff are excited for the school to open on August 28th.
