Gloria Irene Anthony Daniels, 68, passed away at Willow Creek in Goldsboro on July 3, 2023. Born in McCook, Nebraska on November 16, 1954, she was the daughter of Dixie Matson Anthony and the late Neil Anthony.

For Over 30 years, Gloria worked with the city of Goldsboro in the payroll department. When not at work, Gloria could be found outdoors. Gloria had a love for all animals, but her favorite was horses. She felt most comfortable while on the back of a horse.

A service to celebrate Gloria’s life will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Internment will follow the service at Grace Baptist Church Cemetery in Princeton.

In addition to her mother, Gloria is survived by her sons, Benjamin “Cody” Daniels, IV, and Christopher Hatem and wife, Karen; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Hatem and Madison Hatem; sisters, Georgene Capps and husband, Donnie, Janeil Marak and husband, Paul, and Michelle Davenport and husband Marty; brother, Robin Anthony, and wife, Kay. Gloria is also survived by an uncle, many aunts, and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
