Mr. Oscar L. Davis Sr., 86, received his reward of faithfulness on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at home surrounded by his loving family. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 1:00 pm at St. Delight United Holy Church, 976 La Grange Road, La Grange, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a chapel viewing held on Friday, June 23, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.

He was born on April 14, 1937, in Lenoir County, NC to Ed Davis and Lillie Mae Mitnaul Davis. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Minister Beatrice Body Davis; his children; grandchildren; siblings, and other loving relatives and friends.
