Andrew (Andy) Leon LeBlanc

June 10, 2023, 57, Goldsboro –

Andrew (Andy) Leon LeBlanc, 57, passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, June 10, 2023. He was one of nine children of the late Arthur and Henrietta LeBlanc and was born at Westover Air Reserve Base in Chicopee, Massachusetts.

Andy is survived by his loving wife of almost 12 years, Susie Combs-LeBlanc; his daughters, Shannon, Abby, and Katie; step-sons, Derek Combs and Dustin Stallings; grandchildren, Skylar, Avery, and baby Stallings due to arrive in August; siblings, Denise, Claudia, Janine, Maryanne, Rose, Ernie, Artie, and Phil; many aunts, uncles, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, mother-in-law and his loyal sidekick Elvis.

Andy was a hardworking, dedicated employee of Smithfield Foods in Kinston, NC for 13 years and most recently became the Maintenance Planner RTE as well as providing leadership for the Facilities group. Andy was well respected and loved by his coworkers whom he considered close friends and family. He also served 4 years in the USAF and in the past years been a valued member of both the Ayden and LaGrange Volunteer Fire Departments.

Andy was a simple man who enjoyed nothing more than a good cup of coffee, conversation, driving his jeep as well as spending time with his family and friends including his horses, dogs, and ducks. He was a loyal man of his word, was always there to help others, and also loved sharing his mechanical/technological knowledge and skills. His quick wit, bear hugs, and sense of humor will definitely be missed by many.

In typical “Andy” style there will be no formal service but there will be several gatherings in his memory being done along the east coast among family, friends, and coworkers at their convenience.
