GPD Responds to Unresponsive Female

On Saturday, at approximately 3:46 p.m., officers with the Goldsboro Police Department responded to the 200 block of Beale Street in reference to an unresponsive female. Wayne County EMS also responded to the scene. The female, identified as Semiko Woods (41-year-old female) of Goldsboro, was pronounced deceased on scene.

The Goldsboro Police Department’s Investigative Services Bureau and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation responded to the scene and initiated an investigation. That investigation is still developing, and no further information will be released at this time.
