On Friday night, the Dudley Firefighters were called to respond to a single-vehicle accident at the intersection of Emmaus Church Road and Stanley Chapel Church Road. The accident involved a red vehicle that had veered off the roadway and collided with several trees. The three individuals involved in the accident were transported to the hospital by the highly trained personnel of Wayne County EMS Station 8.

A North Carolina Highway Patrol Officer who was in the vicinity of the accident promptly reported the incident to the authorities.
