Two Wheelers for Tommy Distribute Over 100 Bikes

The 2nd Annual Two Wheelers for Tommy event saw a parade of bikes through downtown Goldsboro, culminating at the Hub. The event is held in honor of Tommy King, a passionate advocate for children and community service.

Kriquette’s Kidz, the organization behind this event, distributed 102 bikes to underserved children in the community. The Wayne County community came together to support Kriquette’s Kidz and families, through donations of funds and time resulting in the successful giveaway of 102 bikes.

Kriquette Davis, the founder of Kriquette’s Kidz, shared with volunteers that the event was created to pay tribute to an exceptional man. She followed by thanking those that made this event possible from the sponsors, donors, volunteers, and families.  The joyous atmosphere was palpable, with smiles all around from the children, parents, and volunteers alike.

The community came together to support a worthy cause and honor the legacy of a remarkable individual many said throughout the event. The success of this event is a testament to the power of collective action and the impact that can be made when we work together towards a common goal.
