On a beautiful Saturday morning, a multitude of individuals gathered at the Neuse River boat ramp in Mar-Mac to participate in the Annual Cruise the Neuse event, which was sponsored by the esteemed Goldsboro Parks and Recreation organization. The weather was ideal, and the water was pristine, setting the stage for a memorable experience. Accompanying the 130 participants were dedicated staff members, the Goldsboro Fire Department water rescue team, and Mar-Mac boats, all of whom were present to ensure the safety of the boaters as they embarked on their journey down the river towards Prices boat Landing.
