The second day of the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the Neta & Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl in Pueblo, Colorado hosted by CSU-Pueblo saw a pair of Mount Olive student-athletes represent Conference Carolinas. 

Justen Burnette competed in the 200m where he placed seventh in heat two and finished 21st overall with a time of 21.05. His teammate, Joshua Faison, competed in the men’s discus throw and did not place. 

Luke Thierfelder of Belmont Abbey will wrap up the championships for Conference Carolinas on Saturday, May 27 as he competes in the first flight of the men’s javelin throw at 4:45 p.m. ET.
