Patricia Marlene Daughtry, 63, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Wayne UNC Health Care. Born in Wayne County on September 10, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Delwin Engles and Mary McMillan.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 22, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home. A service to celebrate her life in the Chapel at 6:00 p.m. with Reverend Chris McMillan officiating.

Marlene is survived by her children, Will Daughtry, Brandon Daughtry, and wife, Tara, Jesse Daughtry and wife, Lorie and Eric Daughtry and wife, Cierra; ten grandchildren, Landon, Allie, Natalie, Emily, Jaimie, J.R., Jaycob, Elyzabeth, Sebastian and Ainsley, her sisters, Cheryl Watson, Lori Weaver, Karen Cooper, and Regina Harmon; her brother, Mike Engles; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law Wanda and Ronnie Whaley; and fiancé, Tony Whaley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Kirk Daughtry, Sr.
