Claudia Navarro Roberts, 80, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Brookdale Country Day Road. She was born in Cotulla, Texas to the late Eleseo and Ida Belle Daniels Navarro on November 3, 1942. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Raymond Carr Roberts, Sr.; daughter, Rhonda Roberts Eastman, and sons, Raymond C. Roberts, Jr. and Richard C. Roberts.

Claudia was a valued employee of Goldsboro Country Club for many years. Throughout her life, Claudia lived her life with resiliency and a love for life. She faced her obstacles with grace and dignity and with an abiding faith in Jesus Christ. Claudia could light up a room with her joyous personality and radiant smile. Anyone who knew her knew she could make friends with anyone and was a kind and loving person to all she met. Claudia was blessed to have so many loyal lifelong friends to share her wonderful memories and experiences over the years.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 22, 2023, in Wayne Memorial Park. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.

Claudia is survived by her daughter-in-law, Melissa Roberts; grandchildren, Shannon Roberts Miranda, Jennifer Martin Weddle, Matthew Harris III, Samantha Roberts, and Sam Roberts; and five great-grandchildren.
