Late Friday afternoon firefighters from Pricetown Fire Department along with an EMS unit were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on NC 55 East between Camp Jubilee Road and Emmaus Church Road. As emergency personnel  arrived on the scene they found a  two vehicle crash blocking the West bound lane of Highway 55.

The two patients that were in the silver SUV vehicle were taken to the hospital with non-life- threatening injuries to be checked out while the driver of the black SUV remained on the scene. Traffic control was set up by firefighters through the scene.

The accident is being investigated by the North Carolina Highway Patrol. Both vehicles were heading West on NC 55 when the black SUV ran into the back of the silver SUV.
