May 14, 2023, 50, Pine Level –

David Shayne Williams, 50, of Pine Level, NC, passed away on May 14, 2023, at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.  He was born on December 11, 1972, to David and Joyce Williams.

Shayne, as he preferred to be called, was preceded in death by his father and mother, David and Joyce Williams, and his brother, Justin Williams.

Shayne was a loving father, grandfather, and friend, he is survived by his wife, Christy Williams, children, Danielle Williams Dixon, Damien Williams, and Tyler Williams; stepsons, Michael Pigg and Nicholas Pigg and granddaughter, Bayla Dixon.  Aunt Laura Sellers of the home; nephew and niece, Ethan and Haley Williams; sister-in-law, Natasha Thompson; cousins, Ruth Ann Gossett, Matt Gossett, and Jenny Gossett; along with many more cousins and extended family.

Shayne enjoyed music, he was last a member of Jackie and the High Roller Country Band. He also played with Clearwater Country Band. He loved to praise and worship at the Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, which he attended with his family.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at the Price Cemetery, Pine Level, NC.

The family would like to suggest that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the family, Haley, and Ethan Williams.
