Jaither West Sr., 98, of Goldsboro, departed this walk of life, Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at ECU Medical Heath Medical Center in Greenville.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.  A viewing will be held Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.  A graveside service with military honors will be held Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley.
