Aaron Huffman, 71, entered into rest Saturday at his residence.

Mr. Huffman was actively enjoying retirement. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a Vietnam Veteran. He was a Life Member of the Goldsboro Disabled American Veterans, a Veteran Dog Handler Association Life Member, a Veteran of Foreign Wars Life Member, and a Life Member of the National Rifle Association. Mr. Huffman also enjoyed riding his Harley, but his family and helping others were his pride and joy.

Surviving is his wife, Ellen Baker Huffman, a daughter Cyrena Melick, a Grandson, Tristan Melick, a Granddaughter, Skylar Melick, and a Great-Granddaughter, Maleah Grace “Squirt”.

There will be a Memorial Service for Mr. Aaron Huffman, Thursday at 2:00 pm at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro.
